In-Processing Procedure:

All arriving military personnel, officers and enlisted should report immediately to the Military Personnel Flight upon arrival. Located at 504 Shaw Drive, Building #1118, the Personnel Center can be contacted by phone at 803-895-1598 or DSN.

Expected time spent with the detachment is approximately 5 days. Once you sign in, you will be given your billeting assignment, bedding, and your temporary meal card unless you are on seperate rations. The Carolina Pines Inn should make your family comfortable during your in-processing should they arrive with you to Shaw . To attain temporary housing more smoothly for your family, plan to make your reservations ahead of time by calling Carolina Pines Inn at 803-895-3803.

Remember to be in uniform while in-processing. At Shaw AFB, the duty uniform is utility. Make sure you have plenty of uniforms with you as you begin your duties.

Special Reminder: Have all of your personal records with you to include Personnel, Finance, Medical, and Dental. You will not want to have any delays in paperwork.
